Last 2021, BTS shook the world with Permission to Dance and Butter. Without a doubt, Korean entertainment is on an all-time high and we love how there’s always something to look forward to because of how prolific and hardworking their artists are. As KPop continues to evolve, a lot of up-and-coming groups are releasing new and great sounds, offering their own unique flavor. While we’ll always love BTS, who says you only have to limit yourself to one? Looking for other KPop boy groups to follow? Here are five that you should not sleep on.

ENHYPHEN
ENHYPHEN was formed in 2020 in a survival competition I-Land, and is composed of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. Their hit single, FEVER is definitely a favorite because of its mysterious, dark-ish vibe, and funky tune. We can’t get enough of it! It currently has more than 60 million views on YouTube and we have a feeling that this is only the beginning!

Tomorrow x Together (TXT)
TXT is the second boy group to be launched by Big Hit Entertainment, the same agency as BTS. The group was launched in 2019, winning Rookie of the Year (Music), and has come a long way since then. TXT consists of five members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai. We’re excited to hear more of their pop-rock-punk-inspired songs! For sure, this group is one to follow.

Stray Kids
Stray Kids is composed of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. This talented group sets itself apart with their eclectic modern style that they integrate to KPop. For instance, Red Lights is an upbeat, dancey song, fusing heavy instrumentals with smooth vocals.

Ateez
Deja Vu is such a fun listen and it doesn’t hurt that its music video is so well produced and packed with awesome choreography and edgy outfits. We guess that this is a reflection of the group’s more edgy approach to their music. Ateez was formed by KQ Entertainment. The group consists of eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho.
Songs to listen: Deja Vu, WONDERLAND, Fireworks (I’m The One)
A.C.E
A.C.E was formed by Beat Interactive and co-managed with Swing Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Jun, Donghun, Wow, Kim Byeongkwan, and Chan. They have been called by several publications as one of the more underrated 4th-gen Kpop boy groups. If SAVAGE is any indication of what this group can do, we can see why. Aside from Korean pop, the A.C.E is also known for its covers of English songs. Trust us, this is a group you shouldn’t look past.
