Based on statements made by ZSneakerheadz and DJ Folk, the Bred Air Jordan 1 is indeed coming back this October 2021 but it’s got a catch– it’s a shiny one! The revered Air Jordan 1 is now resurfacing with full patent leather ready for the court and the dance floor. This gives the legendary and iconic colorway a more lifestyle look.
Worry not, it will be going to be the same silhouette with only that glaring shiny difference to set it apart. Based on the style code, the shoe will be available not just in men’s sizing but women’s and kid’s sizes as well making it a “family shoe” if you’re into that kind of thing.
We can understand the disappointment among purists as patent leather is not a great material to age over time (ask every Air Jordan 11 fan about that, and you’ll understand why), not to mention how they crease like crazy upon a few wears. Nonetheless, we bet that they will still fly off the shelves as usual.

According to rumors, this fresh Air Jordan 1 Bred is set to drop on October. Given that you are getting patent leather this time, expect to pay extra for this. With your typical Air Jordan 1 High retailing for Php 8095, we expect this model to go for a little over Php 9k. As for availability, expect Titan, Jordan Manila, and Nike Philippines to have them–though there’s a very good chance that they will hold raffles for it
