A year after the release of the G14 RMT01 limited-edition laptop collaboration, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) and ACRONYM have banded together once more to release the ACR ROG capsule collection. Comprised of hoodies, t-shirts, and accessories, the wide array of products takes on a streetwear approach with centered text and captivating designs. ACRONYM has looked towards both their internal design team and external design collaborators from Belgium, Tokyo, and LA for help with the capsule. Let’s take a look at the different design iterations and what this collection truly has to offer.
Hoodies
All of the three hoodies that are part of the ACR ROG capsule collection boast a black and white colorway. The back backdrop of the white designs provides strong contrast – allowing all the psychedelic and line designs to pop out even more. In true acronym fashion, acronym branding and diagonal lines reminiscent of their collaboration with Off-White find their way onto the hoodies.
T-Shirts
The t-shirts found in the ACR ROG capsule collection take a very similar approach as the hoodies. All except for one of the iterations utilize a monochrome design. The common pattern between the shirts is a simplistic front design composed of text and a more complicated back designed comprised of designs and larger fonts.
Accessories
Included in the ACR ROG capsule collection are one tote bag and two different flat brim caps. In fact, the second cap design utilizes the most color in the entire collection as it includes shades of blue, purple, green, and orange. And for those who would rather go lowkey, the other cap design is simply black and white.
