Given that there’s little chance that things are going back to normal anytime soon, slides (or slippers) are definitely our go-to footwear these days. adidas wants you to have slides that look cool; that being said, they dressed up their iconic Adilettes as silhouettes of some of the Three Stripes’ iconic sneakers.
Taking inspiration from the NMD R1, ZX8000, Micropacer, and SL72, these Adilettes feature the color blocking of those iconic sneakers, along with a graphic of the silhouette on the footbed. These are probably the next best thing in leveling up your slide game: at $60(~Php 3k), these special edition slides are more affordable than the Boost-equipped Pharell slides that dropped a few weeks back.
All four pairs are scheduled to drop on August 23, and we’re just waiting for adidas Philippines to make an official announcement on them.
