Kobe Bryant‘s legacy is undeniable. When artists immortalize someone onto their medium of choice, it’s a fact that you are legendary, timeless and iconic.
Hong Kong based The Real Project has assembled a tribute show that pays respect and immortalizes the Black Mamba himself, commemorating his day of birth, August 23, the said showcase highlights the works of international artists Adam Lister and Santlov with works by six HK-based artists.
Spearheaded by Joey Thye with Michael Li, the “8-24” exhibition still managed to push through despite the pandemic through sheer dedication and will. Kobe was a figure of inspiration not only to the participating artists but to everyone as well.
The event commemorates and mourns Kobe as a legendary star. The event also urges the public to remember The Black Mamba spirit which creates miracles during difficult situations through persistence, courage, strength, and kindness.
Aside from the works from Adam Lister and Santlov, Lousy, Peep Projects, Happy Fung, Sheep Gallery, Twxxi, and Sukiii59 as well.
Memorabilia enthusiasts will be pleased as a plethora of Kobe player exclusives will be up for display. The “8-24” exhibition is up for viewing until August 29.
