The gang composed of Velma, Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, and talking Great Dane Scooby-Doo have just made their way past the television screen. Converse has just recently released their newest line of Scooby-Doo inspired Chuck Taylor All-Stars and Chuck 70s. While the sneakers have been made available abroad (and some even selling out), these hip sneakers will be available in the Philippines tomorrow, September 11!
Thanks to The Athlete’s Foot Philippines, we have our chance at repping Scooby-Doo and the gang on our chucks! Here’s a more detailed look at the collection:
Converse x Scooby-Doo Chuck 70 (Pool Blue)
The iconic Chuck 70 meets a psychedelic Scooby print. With the base colors of the sneaker being Pool Blue and Sulfur Spring, this is a shoe sure to turn heads. The design includes special Scooby-Doo graphics with direct embroidery as well as a Scooby license plate, paw print, and printed lining. Ensuring style meets practicality, the Chuck 70 has an OrthoLite insole to ensure maximum comfort. Lastly, this sneaker has a bright orange rubber outsole, which serves as added traction.
Converse x Scooby-Doo Chuck 70 (Black)
For a more quiet, low-key look, Converse also delivers the Scooby-Doo Chuck 70 in a black colorway. On the sneaker, you can see the complete gang featured on a graphic over foxing. Paying very close attention to detail, the sneaker also includes spooky eyes printed in the sneaker’s inner lining for a full mysterious experience. Similar to the pool blue colorway, the shoe includes a Scooby license plate, paw print, and printed lining. The use of an OrthoLite insole is also found in the shoe, allowing you to walk countless steps, while still repping the classic television show!
