If you have been following adidas lately, the brand has been putting a lot of emphasis on the Forum. Aside from a collab with the likes of QUICCS, the Forum also has a collab with Beyonce’s Ivy Park, cementing the fact that there are endless ways to reimagine the 80s sneaker.
With the collab dropping sometime early this year, this collab is part of Ivy Park’s “Icy Park” winter collection.
Unlike Forums released locally, this Ivy Park mid version has a special box. Instead of the usual Originals box, you get a premium Ivy Park slide out box with an ice blue color. This pair is premium, as they come with their own dust bag.
Upon closer look, the Ivy Park Forum Mid has an all-silver upper that makes generous use of reflective material. You also get the trademark Ivy Park lanyard, along with rope laces, a while midsole, and a gum outsole with a splash of color in it. The midfoot straps have Ivy Park branding, and they have generous padding on the sockliner area. That being said, it is recommended to get them based on your actual size.
Despite their reflective silver appearance, they are versatile enough that you can pair them with any outfit without looking too loud.
If you’re wondering about the price, they cost Php 7,500, which is relatively cheap for a Forum collab. While you can’t buy them as of now, you can still cop a pair through sites like StockX, though prices may vary depending on your shoe size.
