Sure, the General Release is the bomb as it set off a new standard on which local artists are portrayed. It proves that dreams do come true with the right focus, talent, and attitude.
Aside from that awesome white and red pair comes this super exclusive pair which has been gifted to 300 lucky people specifically QUICCS’ friends and family. Honestly, even if you had the cash to buy one, you probably won’t get them because they are not for sale.
We borrowed the QUICCS Forum Friends and Family from Team QUICCS’ Carlo Mendoza to check out what’s special about this pair.
What’s New?
Upon getting the pair in hand, the fan in me took over as I was taken aback by its visual presence. The details, the materials used and the subtle flourishes on the pair make for a very iconic pair.
This came from leftfield when QUICCS posted photos of this one which drove his fans nuts. Now that I’ve got them in hand? The hype is understandable because these are so nice.
Even if the said shoe remains true to the Forum silhouette, it’s given new life by way of the color blocking and its overall visual impact.
Compared to the General Release which is already a nice shoe, this is a different animal as it challenged the norm of what the Forum should look like–and it’s a mind-blowing success!
The Fit and The Sizing
As with most adidas Originals shoes go, the Forum fits True to Size. The premium leather and its nice construction assure the wearer of a nice firm feel when worn. Sadly, we can’t wear them but based from experience, no adjustments are needed whatsoever.

Sadly, its a Friends and Family Exclusive which means we can only marvel at this particular pair of QUICCS Forum from afar. Due to its numbered nature ( This is 162 of 300) these are bound to stay only on the shelves and the feet of QUICCS’ friends and family.

With only 300 pairs in existence, this shoe will go down in history as one of the best and first ever Holy Grails done by a Filipino artist in collaboration with a global brand. Not bad for a guy who rocked shelltoes since day one.
