adidas and Parley have long been partners for the former’s performance line, where products under the collection make use of at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic to promote sustainability–all while retaining the silhouettes of adidas’ popular sneakers.
For this year, adidas and Parley are expanding their partnership with the Originals collection. This time around, adidas and Parley will focus on iconic Originals sneakers like the Superstar, Nizza Hi, Stan Smith, ZX 8000, Forum Mid, Forum Low, and NMD R1. Two models will be exclusive to the ladies with the Forum Bold W and Nizza Platform W.
All models under the collection will come in black and white, and feature Parley Ocean Plastic as part of its overall build.
adidas explains that their new Parley campaign focuses on the grey area in between–demonstrating that style and progress don’t have to be mutually exclusive. The collection is best described as adidas’ trademark design language for its Originals sneakers brought into a fresh new context with sustainability in mind.
The Adidas Parley Originals Spring/Summer 2022 collection is set to drop on April 22, with varying drop dates scheduled across different markets throughout the coming months. The Parley Forum Low is confirmed to drop on April 22 for Php 5,000 as of this writing.
