After the National Park ZX 5000, Juventus ZX 6000, and Hey Tea ZX 6000, adidas continues its A-ZX collection, this time focusing on the letter C. The said letter stands for Boston-based sneaker retailer Concepts, and its collab involves a bright interpretation of the ZX 9000.
Inspired by mylar recovery blankets used by runners to keep them warm after completing the Boston Marathon, this ZX 9000 is dressed up in a highly reflective silver leather upper, with tricolored stripes giving contrast to the lateral side. The upper gets suede trimmings, navy blue heel cage, and eye stay, and speckled laces with “Concepts” and “A-ZX series” on the aglets.
The Concepts ZX 9000 will drop on September 14 for $140(~Php 6.9k). No word yet if adidas will bring this pair to our shores, so stay tuned to the site for updates.
