The 2015 lifestyle Boost sneaker is still alive and kicking
Even if the NMD is not as hyped up as it used to be, adidas still keeps the lifestyle Boost sneaker as part of its offerings. Aside from the OG R1 silhouette, adidas even introduced an R1 V2 model with an R2-like design while keeping the slim looks of the OG R1.
As proof to the lasting power of the NMD, adidas is set to release a new City Pack collection highlighting the cities of Tokyo, Los Angeles, Mexico, and Munich.
For this collection, adidas used the OG R1 silhouette for the Los Angeles and Tokyo colorways and the R1 V2 silhouette for the Munich and Mexico colorways. All 4 models have a dual color Boost midsole: yellow/red for Munich, blue/red for Los Angeles, red/green for the Mexico, and black/gold for the Tokyo.
All four sneakers have a unique tongue tag design: while the Tokyo goes for a classier red tag with gold text, the Mexico, Los Angeles, and Munich sport gradient tags that correspond with their flag colors.
The City Pack collection is set to drop on May 29 for $140(~Php 7.1k). Which city pack will you most likely cop?
