Gaming and sneakers have always associated their entities with each other. As the same people who collect sneakers have the same if not more passion for going at each other online… in the spirit of good fun that is!
Globally recognized gamer Ninja has the two elements on lock with his own collection of adidad sneakers. Composed of four pairs of the Twitch gamers adi favorites, the “Catch The Spark” collection displays a lineup of colorways that reflect the gamer’s personality. The collection is topped off with an animated clip.
The art style totally complements the shoes themselves., which comprises of 2 ZX Torsion Runners and 2 Nite Joggers.
The colorways are adventurous enough that you can tell them apart from each other as standalone pairs which is a good thing.
“When I started playing video games, no one had imagined what was possible in gaming yet. All I cared about was doing what I loved, so I just kept going. I wanted to use this project to highlight some really personal times in my life and I hope that in doing so I can inspire others, showing them that it’s okay to chase their dreams too. That’s also why I picked different colors and textures for each of the shoes — as a way of referencing all the different phases we go through on our respective ‘Time In’ journeys.”
The “Chase the Spark” collection hits adidas’ Ninja page on October 14. The Nite Jogger is priced at Php 7,500, while the ZX Torsion Runner is priced at Php 8,000.
