Pharrell Williams has been quite busy lately with his collaboration with adidas, specifically the NMD Hu. The multihypenate has released several new NMD Hu colorways, and his upcoming collection is one of the simplest so far.
With Aqua, Tonal Pink, and Bold Yellow colorways to choose from, all three take on a monochromatic take, having only black for the sock liner. Each pair has embroidered text on the upper just like other NMD Hu models. The Tonal Pink has “Human Race” spelled in Chinese characters, while the Bold Yellow has the same phrase spelled out in Hindi. As for the Aqua model, Uluntu is a Ndebele term that roughly translates to “Humanity”.
The pastel trio is set to drop on November 7 for $220(~Php 10.7k). Like previous drops, we expect them to be regional exclusives so stay tuned to know which pair will be made available to our shores—we’re betting the Tonal Pink colorway be the one coming to the Philippines.
Speaking of Boost, adidas is planning a big NMD R1 comeback for 2021.
