As the world moves into a new normal, outdoor activities are now more popular than ever. Activities like hiking, al fresco dining, and outdoor exercises have presented a safer option for people looking to unwind and relax in a different environment outside their homes.
Even before this, running has gained popularity because of its health and mental benefits such as reduced stress, improved memory, and strengthening of muscles. Like any sport, it is important to use the right gear for safety as well as improved performance. Women sometimes find it daunting to find workout gear that specifically caters to them, and running shoes like the adidas Solarglide 5 is an exciting addition to the options worth considering or buying.
Tailored to Fit the Female Form
The adidas Solarglide 5 features elements specifically designed with female runners in mind, undergoing a variety of tests to ensure the silhouette provided the best possible fit for female runners. Key features of the Solarglide 5 include:
- A Bubble Boost midsole that consists of hundreds of Boost capsules fused together for an explosion of energy with each step;
- A full-top loaded Control/EVA platform that’s designed for a smooth transition of runners; and
- An updated LEP 2.0 located between to Bubble Boost platform and the Control Platform to provide a smooth run for riders.
“We’re constantly looking for ways to evolve and enhance the Solarglide franchise. Ultimately, we’ve created a shoe designed to be the new front door favorites – a shoe bursting with energy and everyday stable guidance,” adidas Running Footwear Category director Simon Lockett said.
It is also worth noting that the Solarglide 5’s upper is made of Primeblue knit, with at least 50% made of recycled Parley Ocean Plastic.
The adidas Solarglide 5 will launch in a Light Flash Orange x Flash Orange colorway for women and Flash Orange x Turbo Red for men. It will be available globally from February 2 in adidas stores and online, and will retail for Php 8,000.
