We all know that the Air Jordan 1 Low OG is making a comeback this year. There’s the special Chinese New Year Edition, and the Neutral Gray is reportedly dropping on June 24. Expect more Air Jordan 1 Low OG colorways coming in the next few months, and this Ghost Green one looks interesting.
This upcoming colorway sports a light green nubuck and white leather overlays for the upper, and has a small embroidered Swoosh on the toebox area that makes us remind of the Air Max 1 Chlorophyll–which is best known for being one of Nike’s iconic collabs with Patta.
For that added vintage vibe, this sneaker includes exposed foam on the ankle collar and the tongue–giving it a deconstructed vibe that can pass for an Off-White collab. Being an OG version, you get that classic Wings branding on the heel tab (not on the heel like the usual Air Jordan 1 Low), with the heel tab decked in silver for that added contrast to the otherwise subtle color blocking of the sneaker.
Another unique touch to this model is the checkered print on the Nike Air tongue, giving it a nice 80s vibe. The insoles have that classic Nike Air branding and is decked in volt green for that added pop. Completing the look on this sneaker is the classic white midsole and black outsole.
Right now, there’s a lot of mystery behind the Air Jordan 1 Low OG Ghost Green. Heck, we would not be surprised if this sneaker is a collab given its unique details that are associated with previous Patta and Off-White Nike collabs. Right now, we do not know when Jordan Brand will drop this sneaker, though rumors point to a possible May release for $110(~Php 5.4k).
