The Zion 1 is getting a special collab soon, as Jordan brand will be partnering with the hit anime series Naruto for three special colorways. While this is a collaboration that is not expected (compared to when adidas had its Dragon Ball Z collection back in 2018), the collab does make sense given Zion Williamson’s love for anime.
Ahead of its release date, it’s confirmed that there will be three colorways of the Jordan Zion 1 x Naruto. Each of the colorways pays tribute to key Naruto references.
The orange and yellow pair is dubbed Kyuubi and is based on a combination of the Nine-Tailed Chakra Mode with the Six Paths Sage Mode. This pair comes with Rinne Sharingan dōjutsu graphics on the tongue.
The mismatched black and white pair is called Sage of the Six Paths, which is based on its namesake and its power as the ancestor of Shinobi and the first Jinchuriki to exist. This one has motifs found on Naruto’s jacket
The black and red pair is called Nine Tails and refers to the power that was untamed until Naruto sealed it within himself. This one has mixed branding on the tongue: Jumpman on one side, Naruto branding on the other.
According to reports, the Kyuubi Zion 1 Naruto will drop first on May 11, while the other two pairs will launch on May 18. The retail price is set at $130(~Php 6.8k), though it remains to be seen if Jordan brand will make this anime-inspired collection available in the Philippines.
