Featuring vintage Carhartt materials
As Converse pushes for unique-looking sneakers made from upcycled materials, the Massachusetts-based brand teamed up with workwear brand Carhartt for a new collection of Renew sneakers.
Using the Chuck 70 silhouette, this collab makes use of vintage Carhartt work jackets, trousers and overalls—sorted by navy, black and brown, and cut up to become panels for the Chuck 70.
Since we are talking about vintage pieces, each Chuck 70 Renew will have a unique patina, so no one pair will look alike.
The Carhartt Chuck 70 Renew will release on May 28 at Carhartt’s online store and Converse’s online store. No word yet if they will be available in the Philippines.
