There are 3 main types of sneaker wearers: There’s the minimalist wearer, the colorful maven, and the vintage user. Whoever you are in the mix, you’re in for a treat because Fila just rehashed its Renno sneaker, and it has a offerings for various tastes and styles. Though Fila is relatively quiet in the sneaker game compared to, let’s say Nike, the Italian leagacy sneaker brand has gained a loyal cult that has transcended more than a century.
Having said that, Fila now starts 2021 with bang by announcing a new sneaker, the refreshed Fila Renno. Initially debuting as a collab piece with New York-based streetwear label KROST, the Renno blends an old school chunky silhouette–something Fila is best known for with the Disruptor 2 and the newer Disruptor 3–with modern sneaker design and tech. It is inspired from 70s jogger footwear and makes use of recycled leather and fabrics like nylon, suede, and ripstop mesh. This sneaker is perfect for long walks as it features FILA’s Energized midsole cushioning for added comfort. Completing the look is a refined legacy outsole to balance out the chunky looks with a modern sneaker design.
The sneaker is available in a variety of colorways that range from minimalist to colorful combinations. The minimalist in me is already screaming because there’s a baby pink colorway in the mix.
