World Balance is kicking off 2022 on a good note with the Invictus Reveal, which is a new take at the Pinoy brand’s popular silhouette. With the sneaker now available for purchase at their online store, our friends over at HypeGeek got their hands on the Invictus Reveal in Orange, which is arguably the best out of the three colorways.
Retaining most of the key elements that made the Invictus popular, the Reveal got a few tweaks like the use of ripstop material for the upper’s panels and a glow-in-the-dark midsole–a first-ever for any Invictus model.
In the unboxing, HypeGeek notes how the orange color of the Invictus Reveal really pop out, and how the materials used made it look cleaner while keeping its affordable price tag. Speaking of premium, the Invictus Reveal makes use of a mix of suede and ripstop, and black accents on the TPU mudguard panel, heel tab, and heel counter give it a nice contrast to the bright-colored sneakers.
Adding appeal to the Invictus Reveal are the reflective laces and the glow-in-the-dark midsole–which is arguably the main feature of the Invictus Reveal other than its use of ripstop for its panel overlays.
With those tweaks, the Invictus Reveal is just priced at Php 2,299, which is a really good price for a clean and stylish sneaker that you can casually rock without breaking the bank.
