A new take on the all-white concept
Commonwealth is back once again with a new sneaker collaboration. Using the K-Swiss Classic 66 as its base, Commonwealth reinterpreted the sneaker by using a variety of materials—suede, leather, synthetic, and textile—for the upper.
“The mixture of materials throughout the upper and the subtle differences between left and right come together for a refined, tonal appeal that will make you do a double-take,” K-Swiss marketing director Gabriella Gomez said.
Other unique details to the sneaker include Commonwealth-branded insoles and lace tips, leather sock liner, and a lightly padded woven tongue.
“One of our goals with this project was to create an everyday all-white sneaker, where the details aren’t just the details, but the product,” Commonwealth Design Director Omar Quiambao said.
The Commonwealth x K-Swiss Classic 66 will be available at Commonwealth PH online on April 16 for Php 6,200.
