Last year, viewers fell in love with Kim Seon-Ho who played the 2nd lead character Han Ji-pyeong, in Start-Up. Lots of people were rooting for him during the series. While he did get his happy ending, the clamor to him to be given the spotlight was huge. In the new Kdrama of Kim Seon-ho, which is entitled Hometown Cha Cha Cha, he does play the lead and we are excited!
Interestingly, his leading lady, Shin Min Ah (Yoon Hye Jin) also played an underdog that everyone rooted for in one of Kdrama’s crowd favorites, Oh My Venus. This will be the actress’ first tv series since Chief of Staff, which aired in 2019.
The new Kim Seon Ho Kdrama is based on the movie Mr. Hong, where he plays an all-around professional (Hong Doo Shik) who helps everyone in the Gongjin village. He meets Ms. Yoon when she moves to the village and opens a clinic and a bond is formed.

Aside from the teaser, the upcoming show now has a somewhat mysterious official poster with the words “The moment our hearts began to dance” in it. According to the series’ production team, “since it’s the first representative image revealed for Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, we wanted to fully show the charm the drama possesses.” They also told viewers to anticipate changes in the leading characters’ relationship and how their distance in the poster, will gradually get closer.
Recently, the two actors also engaged in a script reading, to which fans expressed their anticipation over the upcoming drama. The chemistry between the two actors is palpable to be honest. If this is any indication of the upcoming drama’s swoon factor, we are definitely in for a treat.
