What happens when Mickey Mouse and the Philippines come together? World Balance has an answer to that, as they are partnering up with Disney to present us with the Mickey Go Philippines Collection. The collection includes a vivid line of sneakers, jackets, tees, pants, shorts, and bags, all incorporating Mickey Mouse with traditional Filipino designs.
Footwear
For all the Disney fans out there, Mickey’s iconic logo finds its way onto the collection’s footwear while donning a traditional Habi pattern and colors of the Philippine flag. Through showcasing the best of both worlds, we get to see Mickey Mouse side-by-side with iconic Pinoy symbols such as the Sarimanok and Adarna. Offering variety, there are two different sneaker silhouettes for men and women, which are dubbed Bandila and Habi. Kids on the other hand also get their own iteration of Bandila alongside an exclusive Adarna design, which is available in both laces and velcro for easier wear.
The Bandila sneaker style is inspired by the different colors of the Philippine flag with red and blue on one side and a mickey icon on the other. The minimalist-looking Habi has a comfortable sock-fit and native espadrille material.

Pre-orders for the Disney x World Balance Mickey Go Philippines collection, which comes with special packaging boasting iconic fonts resembling Pinoy street signs, will be from June 9 to 11 through World Balance’s website. Afterward, the entire collection will be made available in select World Balance retail stores on June 12.
