With the late 80s to mid-90s being the It trend these days, it is not surprising to see brands explore their archives for new re-releases. Off-White’s upcoming collab with Stussy draws inspiration from the latter’s older designs, and adidas has been giving the ZX 8000 some buzz with the a-ZX collection.

Nike, for their part, is bringing back old silhouettes like the Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 and Air Cross Trainer 3 Low back, and it is digging its archives further with the return of the Air Cross Trainer Low.

An old cross-training sneaker that debuted in 1988, the once-forgotten sneaker is making a comeback for the first time in 32 years.  Photos of the retro pair appear to be faithful to the OG model, with Nike playing it safe by utilizing a dominant white colorway with hints of red and silver—that sounds like a perfect workout sneaker for avid fans of the Chicago Bulls.

As for the materials used, you have leather for the upper, with perforated panels on the lateral and medial side and on the toebox. Like the OG, the 2020 version gets a mesh tongue.

The Air Cross Trainer 3 Low is expected to drop later this year. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
