This year, Drake and Nike have strengthened their relationship with the release of the Certified Lover Boy Collection that accompanied the rapper’s sixth studio album. Evidently, the partnership between the two parties has not come to an end. Drake and Nike have recently announced their newest collaborative line: NOCTA.
Inspired by Drake’s nocturnal creative process and the fashion landscape of major cities Toronto, London, and Paris, NOCTA offers a range of apparel products. All fitting the similar theme of premium sporty staples, the unveiled NOCTA collection is straightforward. Only two main tones of yellow and black are utilized throughout the puffer jacket, hoodie, fleece pants, and crew socks.
Puffer Jacket
Maintaining a rather simple design, the puffer jacket focuses on practicality. Although, as a subtle reminder that the collection is indeed premium, a three-dimensional Swoosh is beveled on the jacket’s rear. The classic puffer jacket has a retail price of $400 (~Php 19.3k).
Hoodie
Similarly, the NOCTA hoodie presents a lowkey aesthetic by maintaining the same tone throughout the piece with minor lining through the arms and rear with the opposite color. In addition, subtle branding can be found in the middle chest, upper back, and waist area. The hoodie has a retail price of $120(~Php 5.8k).
Fleece Pants
Capable of being partnered with the rest of the collection, the fleece pants utilize very similar design choices. Reflective piping runs through the piece to further heighten visibility during the night. The fleece pants have a retail price of $110(~Php 5.3k).
Crew Socks
Completing the collection is a pair of classic Nike crew socks that don NOCTA branding and lettering. While the black and yellow tones are utilized in one pair, the other pair provides a monochromatic option. The crew socks have a retail price of $30(~Php 1.5k).
Releasing on December 19, the NOCTA Collection will be made available on Nike’s US Website. If you’re interested in following for more details and products be sure to monitor NOCTA’s Website as well.
