In the middle of all the sneaker launches happening all over the world, there are the relaunches of the classics such as the Puma Suede XXI. The classic pair is part of Puma’s Suede line that hit the scene in 1968 and has been worn by the icons of different generations including Tommie Smith, B-Boys, JAY-Z, Rihanna, and Selena Gomez. Fast forward to 2021, this refreshed Suede XXI variant uses environmentally responsible leather manufacturing, and is audited and certified via the Leather Working Group protocol.
Puma’s relaunch is part of a month-long celebration, “28 Days of Suede”. Other drops include the Suede Classix and the Suede Mono Pack. Check out the 28 colorways that are expected to drop in the coming days:
Puma Suede XXI Philippines Price
I’m all about wearability, so I appreciate how easy it is to match this sneaker with most of my outfits. Of course, there’s that signature gold Puma accent we love. The Suede XXI costs $70(~Php 3.5k) and is available in a variety of colorways in selected retailers.
If you want a different version, do note that Puma is releasing a barrage of new Suede models, so you can simply choose which one you like and cop that. Or maybe cop multiple pairs if that’s your thing. I am definitely hyped about this, and I’m quite excited to see Puma bring not just the Suede XXI but ALL models under the 28 Days of Suede to our shores.
As of this writing, there are three colorways (and a limited size run!) of the Suede XXI available in Zalora for Php 4,870. That’s more expensive than its SRP in the US, but at least you are buying via Zalora PH, saving you time in getting them as soon as possible.
Also check out other sneaker launches, Nike’s old school pair as well as Puma’s Weekend collab.
