As it builds its presence here, Reebok opens its newest store in the Philippines at SM Megamall. The store is a dedicated space for all Reebok products–prior to this, Reebok sneakers and apparel are usually sold in multi-brand stores like Sports Central.
The opening of the store in SM Megamall marks the start of Reebok in the Philippines once again under a new local distributor. It’s nice to see a renewed love for the brand ever since adidas sold Reebok to Authentic Brands Group–a conglomerate that has brands like Brooks Brothers, Forever 21, Nine West, Aeropostale, and more under its belt.
The large space, which is located on the third floor of SM Megamall Fashion Hall, contains everything Reebok fans are looking for–not just the sneakers, but also apparel like shirts, socks, tees, and bags. Being dedicated to Reebok, the store covers both its lifestyle and performance lines and even some of its retro models–which are gaining steam lately.
As a store that houses anything and everything Reebok, there are a few notable pairs that were spotted. Some of the interesting ones include the Instapump Fury 2.0 (aka Fury 95), which officially drops in the Philippines for the first time.
Also spotted in the store is a new take on Reebok’s famed Hexalite tech called Hexalite+. This version uses 3D printing tech–similar to what adidas does to their 4D tech, but Reebok’s implementation emphasizes the original design of Hexalite.
While the much-awaited Question and Answer sneakers are not in store (they might have them soon, so better stay tuned!), there’s a modern take to Allen Iverson’s signature sneaker lines with the Solution Mid.
Of course, any dedicated brand store is not complete without having collabs for sale, and the Reebok Store in SM Megamall has several pieces from their collab with Cardi B, along with select sneakers under their collabs with Jurassic Park and Looney Tunes.
