We finally got our first look at the official Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer and all we can say is there’s a lot in store for this film! The upcoming movie is centred around the repercussions of the events that took place during Spider-Man: Far From Home. One of the realities Peter Parker (Tom Holland) now faces is the fact that the whole world knows he is the man behind the spidey mask.

Within the three-minute trailer, there’s a lot to unpack. Not only will the film include a screen time of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wong (Benedict Wong), unexpected guests also make a grand entrance as well. That includes the return of Alfred Molina as Doctor Otto Octavius and the potential inclusion of Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe). The cherry on top however is the split-second scene in the trailer wherein a sand barrier is formed, teasing the participation of Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman.

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”

The trailer unveils that problems arise after Peter Parker pays Doctor Strange a visit in hopes to reverse the whole world knowing Parker’s identity. Going against Wong’s orders of not casting the spell that will “fix” Peter’s problems, Doctor Strange agrees to help Peter and opens up the complexities of the multiverse. While the dangers of the multiverse seem rather daunting, it also opens a multitude of possibilities such as a surprise appearance from past versions of Spider-Man played by Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield.
