Swedish House Mafia cemented their name as one of the best EDM groups ever formed when they released their hit track ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ back in 2012.
Interestingly enough, the anthem served as a reminder that everything will be okay even after the EDM group decided to part ways. It has been a while since Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso worked their magic in the studio. But finally, billboards have begun to emerge in major cities such as New York and Stockholm as Swedish House Mafia tease their return this 2021.
The billboards feature the iconic SHM logo composed of three nondescript dots. Alongside this, the advert is marked with the date of July 15 and the Spotify logo. This can only mean one thing: the first Swedish House Mafia single for 2021, and their first new song since 2012, will be made available later this week on the leading audio streaming platform.
Stockholm, Sweden boasted slightly different billboards. Yet, the essence of the teaser remained the same: Swedish House Mafia will be back on July 15, 2021. Such news has left dormant fans anticipating what’s coming next! Hype will most likely continue to build up as the EDM group is scheduled to perform on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ next week.
As for the song in question, various reports reveal that the title of the single is Lifetime and that it will feature Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake.
Exciting times are ahead for SHM fans, EDM fans, and the music world altogether. The release of new singles could also mean that the trio will step on stage sometime in the future during music festivals such as Ultra. Make sure to stay tuned as we learn more about the upcoming track. In the meantime, check out other recent music news: BTS Continues to Dominate Music Charts with New Single ‘Butter’!
