A budget-friendly sneaker for avid Kobe fans
Following Kobe Bryant’s sudden passing last January 26, Nike has quietly debuted the first Kobe signature with the Mamba Fury. A budget-friendly sneaker from the Kobe line, the Mamba Fury has a mesh upper, Kobe’s sheath logo on the tongue, and a Swoosh logo that reminds us of the Zoom Freak 1.
To debut in three colors (Black/White, White/Silver, and Black/Red with a marbled Yellow/Black midsole), the Mamba Fury is reminiscent of the Kobe 6 and Kobe 8, with the heel spoiler inspired by the Kobe AD line. For cushioning, the Mamba Fury comes with forefoot Zoom Air and a Phylon midsole.
