adidas and Nigo’s Human Made label are back for another collab, this time utilizing the Rivalry Lo silhouette. Unlike Human Made’s take on the Superstar, the Rivalry Lo comes in three familiar color blockings. Familiar because all three pay homage to A Bathing Ape’s colorful Bapesta line.
All three colorways have the “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” branding on the stripes on the lateral side and Human Made logo on the medial side. All three colorways use smooth, buttery leather for the upper.
Let’s talk about the colorways. The first one is bold and bright with its mix of candy red, yellow, turquoise, and navy blue on the upper. Its color blocking is reminiscent of the “Foot Soldier” Bapesta release.
The second one mixes dark green with yellow, brown, and orange. The color blocking on this pair reminds of old Bapesta colorways from the 2000s.
The third one is very familiar, as it pays homage to the Ice Cream Bapestas. This one keeps it subtle with a mix of beige, rose pink, and brown for the upper.
