Sneaker retailer SNIPES is on fire… no, don’t take it literally! Their “Dunks Since 1985” pop-up museum right in the middle of their location will break the stiffest of necks and convert the most pessimistic sneakerhead.
Located at the center of the 6,000 sq. foot converted location, the display is composed of 35 of the rarest and most influential Nike Dunk SBs that the world has ever seen.
Provided by Project Blitz AKA Travis Scott’s sneaker plug, the display carries you to the most grailed Dunks in history. From the Unkle samples to the 1999 Wu-Tang Dunks, down to the Reese Forbes denims and the “Freddy Krueger” samples that are literally almost impossible to obtain now! Of course, who can miss the Paris Dunks right?
Aside from the killer display, the store carries a wide range of sneaker brands from Nike, Jordan Brand, New Balance, adidas, and more. But obviously, people are flocking in because of the dunks. If you can’t own them at least get a glimpse of them.
Of course, we can’t go there but the store is located at 1117 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11213. The “Dunks Since 1985” collection will be on display until February 28.
Speaking of Dunks, here’s why we predict the trend (only the trend, not the shoe) dying a bit for this year.
