One of the last few pieces Virgil Abloh designed for Louis Vuitton is a collaboration with Nike for the Air Force 1. We’ve already seen a few friends and family like DJ Khaled being blessed with a pair and the 200 pairs that went into auction, and we couldn’t wait to see what the retail version will look like, as we previously talked about on Instagram.
While rumored to be reserved to Louis Vuitton VIP customers, the retail Air Force 1 collection is said to come in 21 colorways, with at least 9 of them releasing very soon.
Based on the leaks, three of the colorways will bear a monogram color blocking in white and either red, blue, or green, along with a very loud metallic gold monogram one. Those who like it subtle can consider the all-suede, triple black monogram pair or the full leather, triple white monogram pair.
Also in the mix of the first 9 colorways are two mids: one that has a clean triple white monogram look, and one with the classic Louis Vuitton checkered pattern that’s adorned with graffiti. Wrapping up the initial collection is a multi-color low-cut model with a mix of metallic silver on the toebox and green and purple suede on the tongue and quarter panels respectively.
We still don’t know the release details for them but whatever the case, chances of you getting one is very slim unless you are a VIP customer.
