School perks at its finest
Jordan brand-sponsored schools get a lot of perks. Chief among these are Player Exclusive (PE) sneakers that have better build quality compared to most retail pairs. For the past few months, Jordan Brand is focused on the Air Jordan 1, dressing it up in exotic materials.
After the Oklahoma Sooners, UNC Tar Heels, and Florida Gators, the Georgetown Hoyas’ finally get their hands on their own special Air Jordan 1. English Sole blessed us with these photos, showcasing the exclusive pair up close.
Like the previous PE pairs, this Hoyas Air Jordan 1 PE screams premium: cracked white leather for the quarter panels, gray ostrich leather on the eye stays, mudguard, and collar, and navy blue stingray leather on the toebox, heel, Swoosh, and collar flaps. Completing the PE look is the Georgetown G logo on the right pair’s tongue.
While they will not be sold to the public, expect Bigboy Cheng to add this to his sneaker collection.
