Vans has teamed up with Malaysian streetwear label Futuremade Studio (FTMD.) for a collection that reimagines both the Sk8 Low and Half Cab with the latter’s “Everyday Everybody” inspiration.
Both reimagined sneakers are designed to be worn daily–from the skate park, dance floor, local cafe, or even for running errands. The core value of this collection is to create everyday footwear that balances utility and style so everyone can enjoy it on all occasions.
The Sk8 Low features an earthy, warm brown color and a yellow sole that gives an “aged” effect. The Vans logo tag on the shoe tongue is made by chain stitch embroidery to highlight the character of FTMD. It also features blue foxing tape around the sole to give it some color contrast.
The Half Cab, on the other hand, is presented in light beige to provide a clean and fresh aesthetic. It also features the chain stitch embroidered Vans tag to echo the Sk8 Low, and both silhouettes highlight the embedded soles with the FTMD. logo.
The Sk8 Low is priced at Php 6,998, while the Half Cab is priced at Php 7,298. The Vans x FTMD. collection is available at Vans SM Megamall, Vans Greenbelt, Vans Glorietta, Vans Ayala Center Cebu, and Atmos Philippines in One Bonifacio.
