Can you imagine that? It’s been a quarter of the century since Pokemon came out. Fast-forward to today and it has millions of fans from all over the globe, crossing through generations.
The video game developed by Game Freak and Nintendo became so popular that it has its own media franchise with 23 films that includes the recently-released Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. So far, the film has only been released in Japan last December. Its release outside Japan got delayed because of the ongoing pandemic, and the awaited movie should premiere in the US later this year
As a briefer, Pokémon is set in the Pokémon universe which can be set in different regions depending on the game you’re playing. Each region has its own set of challenges such as contests and villainous teams. A player can find different types of Pokémon as well as other helpful items and characters to help them in the challenges.
For Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, zavvi teamed up with Pokémon for a collection of limited edition merchandise. By limited, we mean 2500 items per piece. This line includes unisex t-shirts, hoodies, and as well as a replica Poké ball.
